231st Shirgreen Scoutgroup

Hesley wood is hosting two congingents of the Japanese scouts. Some will be camping at hesley. We have been invited to go up on friday night to join in the activities.

FULL UNIFORM REQUIRED (bring a spare because I don't know the activities)

7pm - 9pm

You will meet scouts from Japan, make new friends and gain new experiences.

Important information please read…

For those who aren’t aware there is an annual Sheffield Scouting event called Splashdown. This is a weekend of fun filled water based activities. The activities include canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, canoe regatta, row boats and raft race. Plus in previous years there has been archery, mountain biking and grass sledging.

The splashdown event this year again takes place at Rother Valley Country Park. Friday 22^nd June until Sunday 24^th June.

 

Due to lack of leader numbers available to help at the event we have decided to camp with 82^nd Chapeltown Scout Group. This will help with supervision, cooking and more opportunities to get out on the water.

 

The cost of the event will be £30. This will cover the camp fees, food, launch fees, race/event fees and a fun day activity pass so your child can take part in ALL the activities available.

 

The numbers are needed with the organisation team by the15th June. So could you please contact me ASAP to let me know if your child will be attending? There is also an option to just come for the day, obviously the costs will be much less but I still need to know numbers.

 

Can all deposits of £10 be paid next week please? The week after is Splashdown when full balance will be required. Apologies for short notice but I have only just received the information.
